FALAINES

Falaines is an emo/post duet based in Athens, Greece. Having a wide span of influences (such as Deftones, Movements, Mother of Millions, and others) they create stories to express existential worries related to mental health, toxic relationship and seclusion issues. Presenting dynamic contrast and dramatic pauses in a confessional tone, they mostly emphasize on the storytelling elements of music. The duo draws inspiration from music they listen to combined with lyrics comprehensible to the Greek audience, as an attempt to avoid existing recipes and biases. They both contribute to the musical and lyrical composition, influenced by their everyday life, videogames, mythology and modern literature.
