The name Fantomel is a playful diminutive of the Romanian word for "ghost" (fantomă), but it carries more than just a name—it carries a message. The ghost mask didn’t appear out of nowhere; it’s a statement. In a world obsessed with appearances, Fantomel shifts the focus back to what truly matters: the message you convey through your music and the emotion it sparks in others. His mission is simple— to inspire anyone with a dream to chase it relentlessly and build it with purpose. After posting a video on social media of an impromptu studio session with Kate Linn, his world turned upside down. They were inspired by a game they saw online and decided to make a fun song out of it. Following its snippet release, the track’s infectious hook took over TikTok, generating over 1 million videos in just two weeks and claiming the #1 spot on the TikTok Songs Chart. At its core, Dame un Grrr is about the freedom to express yourself boldly in love—with a wink, a beat, and a whole lot of attitude.
