Underground καλλιτέχνης neoclassical
Felix Rösch is a German composer and electronic musician who thrives on blurring the edges between orchestra halls and underground clubs, between concert works and cinematic soundscapes. Trained as a classical pianist and film composer, he has spent the last two decades shaping music for films, theater productions, and award-winning radio dramas while also releasing a series of adventurous albums and singles. Whether reimagining orchestral textures with the WDR Symphony Orchestra and Choir or crafting intimate solo piano works, Rösch has built a reputation for turning familiar forms into something unexpected, cinematic, and deeply immersive. Based in Berlin, Rösch moves freely between disciplines, collaborating with theater directors, visual artists, and sound designers, as well as creating music for brands and large-scale multimedia installations. His work has earned him prizes from the Berlinale and WDR, but it resists easy categorization - shifting fluidly from lush, neo-classical orchestrations to experimental electronics and raw, emotional piano. At the heart of it all is a playful curiosity: a love of sound as both structure and atmosphere, melody and abstraction, always inviting the listener to step into a space that is both intimate and otherworldly.
Felix Rösch plays contemporary classical and ambient music, blending intricate piano compositions with experimental electronic soundscapes.
