Fima Chupakhin is an exquisite jazz pianist, multimedia composer and cross-genre keyboardist whose creativity spans various styles, while staying rooted in jazz and improvised music. His playing is regarded by Ted Panken (Jazz Times, Down Beat) as "subtle, persuasive, exploratory, never harsh or aggressive". "Water" is Chupakhin's debut album under his own name. Fima performs regularly in New York with his Trio and an R&B/soul band fake tapes, which he also sound produces. He is a part of the Kristina Koller Quartet and an indie/pop singer Alyssa's live band. In his home country Ukraine Fima is well-known as the bandleader of the jazz group Acoustic Quartet (AQ), keyboardist/arranger for the famous artist Sergey Babkin and a frequent collaborator with the 2016 Eurovision Awards Winner, singer Jamala.
