Fully Furnished is an eclectic, energetic, and eccentric music project based in Brooklyn, New York. Drawing from various genres such as surf rock, jam, psychedelic rock, post punk and jazz fusion, they deliver an energetic live set (each one different from the last) that takes you on a delicious sonic fever dream of a ride. When asked to pinpoint a single genre for Fully Furnished, listeners’ responses ranged from “Freelance Jazz” to “Cat Math” to “Do Not Wop” to “Pure Vibes” to “Thwack!” and the band can’t help but agree! Fully Furnished uses jagged guitar riffs, odd time signatures, and cut-up lyrical techniques to reflect a playful reckoning with personal and collective anxieties that appear in dreams and reality alike. Their songs often live in limbo, with playfulness interrupted by dissonance and angular grooves resolving into stillness.
