GAVIAL HAZE

GAVIAL HAZE is a Swiss instrumental psych stoner band from La Chaux-de-Fonds. The band was originally formed as a trio in 2017, expanding as a quartet for their first international gigs in Italy in the summer of 2018. Since then, they sharpened their teeth on the Swiss underground scene with many artists, such as Nick Oliveri, The Obsessed, Monkey 3, SACRI MONTI, Dirty Sound Magnet, Temple Fang, Ananda Mida and many more ! GAVIAL HAZE offers a dynamic blend of heavy riff based stoner grooves , heavily colored by the melodic psychedelia of twin guitar harmonies. This beast was mostly fed with 70’s heavy rock, so you can expect some smoother , calmer moments too! When asked to describe this blues-tainted progressive fuzz fest, you’ll often hear the line: «The guitars are the singers. » Summer 2024 marks the release of the eponymous first album from GAVIAL HAZE. At the end of 2025 they released "The Method" , a 3 track EP recorded after the original bass player left the band. They are coming back on stage in 2026 with Romain Perret, who completes the current line-up as the new master of low frequencies !
