GUIGUISUISUI

Guiguisuisui is a heavy psychedelic band which draws on Himalayan spirits to shake hearts and minds in order to awaken the senses. With its origins in Northeast China in 2012 the band has gone through numerous mythical manifestations, touring relentlessly inChina, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe (UK, France,Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Poland) and Greenland, while exploring a range of genres, live painting, and performance art. The most recent manifestation blends doom drone, psych rock, and ambient music to create a sonic tapestries inspired by Himalayan lore, where heroes and great cities are birthed and destroyed between each note, and fabled adventurers scale the swells and crescendos surrendering their worldly senses in order to seek greater truths from beyond this mortal plane. The primary creative force behind Guiguisuisui is Dann Gaymer (The Slow Blade, Ravages, New Age of Decay, Peachy Carnehan, Round Eye, Nekroma, Loooooongish Cat, Daftpop Sounds), a British born artist, educator, psychologist, and anthropology student who has spent 16 years exploring underground music and indigenous mythology around the world, having played in over 20 countries including the far reaches of Mongolia and Greenland, and released dozens of albums and EPs.
