Before there was punk rock, there was HANDSOME DICK MANITOBA. He was originally credited as The Dictator’s “Secret Weapon” on their debut album. That is until management saw his undeniable stage presence and bombastic delivery. Since their second album, “The Manifest Destiny,” and for over 40 years, HANDSOME DICK MANITOBA was, and to fans always will be, the lead singer, frontman, and the face of THE DICTATORS and DICTATORS, NYC. He’s also been on the road singing with the Legendary MC5 and spent 14 years doing his own radio program on Sirius XM satellite. The Handsome One, while no longer a member of the new patchwork Dictators, has put together a fantastic band featuring current and former members of Exodus, JetBoy, Circus of Power and more.
