Electronic experimentalists HATIHATI, have continually blurred aliases across their musical career, expanding into fashion, performance and music supervision. Today marks their first release with DEEWEE, a two track 12”, Whip It / Head co-produced with David & Stephen Dewaele. “Many of the small sounds in HATIHATI tracks begin as everyday noises. Instead of sampling them, we recreate them through synthesis. The experiments were first stored in a folder. That folder grew into a small sound library. It eventually became a little, ever-evolving sound organism we call Dear User. A copy now lives at DeeWee HQ — making it something like an invisible additional member.”
