Heydar Hedayati (Heydoo) is an Iranian composer, singer, photographer, and videographer born in 1990 in southern Iran (Bushehr). Heydoo was introduced to folk music and local songs at a young age by his family. He initially played the بوشهری نیهمبانه (Ney-Anbaneh) and percussions. At the age of 15, he began learning the piano. After moving to Tehran, he studied filmmaking. Since 2010, Heydoo has been working professionally as a documentary and social photographer, and has held several solo and group exhibitions. In the field of music, Heydoo has released one album called "Tirishko" and several singles in collaboration with artists such as Fardin Khalatbari and Mehyar Alizadeh. He has also conducted research on Iranian seafaring music and labor music for many years, resulting in the publication of several videos focusing on the ethnography and folk music of different regions of Iran.
