An indie pop band whose music is moody and introspective but full of danceable rhythms and savvy electronic accents, Honeymoan broke out of Cape Town, South Africa's music scene to gain international notoriety. Honeymoan worked out the formula of their mix of indie pop, alternative rock, and smart R&B beats on early EPs like 2019's Body, 2020's Weirdo and 2021's Palace, and they added greater muscle and sonic adventure on their first full-length, 2024's Sorry Like You Mean It. Their second LP Pink Hell (2025) explored a more pop-punk inspired sound. Honeymoan was formed in Cape Town in 2017 by Alison Rachel and Skye MacInnes, two friends started writing songs strictly for fun, and working in their friend Josh Berry's home studio, they turned their primitive tunes into surprisingly effective tracks. Honeymoan relocated to England to take advantage of their growing international following. They released their debut LP 'Sorry Like You Mean It' in 2023 and sophomore album 'Pink Hell' in 2025 along with a deluxe edition boasting 9 additional tracks. The trio are gearing up to release their third studio LP in August 2026
