Duo composed of french siblings Léa and Quentin Mével, based in Barcelona, Spain. Lea use to play as a singer songwriter under the name Small Signs since 2012, and to be part of bands like Lemy River in Barcelona. Meanwhile, Quentin is composing a small instrumental album called Smoke Signals and becomes second guitar in the band We Are Crystal Palace (big part of them is now Bryan's Magic tears) in Paris. Quentin joined Léa in Barcelona, and at last they started playing together, and created Honolulu in 2016. Their round dream pop, the impenetrable atmosphere and the intoxicating perfume they emit, surrounds you. Once you get to this intimate bubble, transparent but impermeable to society inclemencies, you discover a true proposal where talent and style speak for themselves. They presented their debut album in May 2019 under the label Foehn Records, recorded at La Masia Music Lab (Barcelona, Spain) by Josep Vilagut. During the quarantine the Mevels are releasing a serie of covers called COVID COVERS as an exercise on Youtube. September 2020 the single 'TOI' is out, energic preview to the 4 tracks EP 'GOLD' released on october 9th with Foehn records. October 2020.
