Ignatz

Ignatz is the solo project of Brussels-based musician Bram Devens, creating tense and hypnotic music that bridges ancient blues and folk traditions with heavy distortion and ambient soundscapes. Armed with an acoustic guitar and an array of effects pedals, the project balances sparse, emotive songwriting with sprawling improvisational textures. His distinct lo-fi aesthetic merges hypnotic drone with psychedelic folk sensibilities.
