Inan Batman is a Berlin-based artist whose musical DNA is rooted in hip hop culture, a journey that began over 20 years ago. Starting as a breakdancer in Stuttgart before stepping behind the decks in 2002, music became identity, culture and expression. Influenced by the artistry of Michael Jackson and Kanye West, he developed a strong sense for musical storytelling and cultural impact. His path later took him from Berlin to New York, where he became part of the international hip hop and R&B touring circuit. During this time he moved within circles around Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, performed as an opening DJ around JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s On The Run II tour, and performed in tour contexts with Nas and J. Cole. He also toured with R&B artists including Dru Hill, Brian McKnight, Joe and 112. After years of touring, hip hop club shows and more than two decades in nightlife, his sound evolved toward house music. His collaboration “DUNYA” with Luciano gained over 6 million Spotify streams, followed by performances at Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa (ANTS). Supported by Black Coffee, Loco Dice and Adam Port, who played his productions, he is now focused on his work as a producer. He also contributed to “Honeyland” on GORDO’s album Diamante. Today his music blends the emotional DNA of hip hop and R&B with house and afro-tech. As an independent artist, his vision is rooted in ownership, authenticity and connecting cultures through sound and creativity.
