JASSS

JASSS is an Artist and DJ whose releases, sets, and live performances, puncture through genre classification with a sound firmly rooted in bass, percussion, experimental electronics which flourishes with detail and provokes emotional response. Refining her approach over the last decade with releases on AD-93, iDEAL, Ostgut Ton, Mannequin Records and Never Sleep, JASSS’ widely revered productions combine industrial and techno elements, often dissolving the boundaries between genre with a signature ear for melody inspired by an love of shoegaze, grunge, and trip-hop. Her signature cross-genre selections have taken her across the world alongside cementing her as an in demand DJ, being recruited as a resident for the Berlin based Herrensauna. In 2025, JASSS embarks on a new chapter with AWOS, the umbrella term and home for JASSS’ solo, collaborative work and other projects which share a morphing identity.
