Jesco

Music that tastes and sounds like cheap Whisky. Sharp, filthy but intoxicating. Jesco is a 3-piece band from the Netherlands centered around Utrecht. They play a variety of genres, from blues to punk to folk music, with a rock ‘n roll attitude. Bringing together instruments such as banjo, guitar, washboard, bells, harmonica, steel chains, and double bass to craft what’s best described as “Folk ‘n’ Roll”. Jesco’s stories are mostly about the madness of the mind and the tragic denizens and outcasts that stumble around and within us. With a dark sense of humor, they hope to invite the audience to relate with, laugh about, or be appalled by the characters and tales that inhabit the melodies.
