Jive Mother Mary knows what it’s like to bet the long odds. They wear their hearts and sound on their sleeves—500 mile van rides, life-long friendships, and decades of blood, sweat, and tears culminate into something both refreshing and familiar that sticks to your ribs like a Sunday dinner. Formed in 2006 by Mason Keck and Seth Aldridge after discovering a shared love of "The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion" by The Black Crowes, JMM has spent the last 17 years earning fans across the US as well as 7 other countries. Sharing the stage with classic acts like Foreigner and Leon Russell as well as new acts like Blackberry Smoke, Whiskey Myers, and Drive-By Truckers has put JMM in front of a wide range of audiences that never fail to enjoy their stage show. With five albums under their belt, JMM’s electrifying stage performance is ever-changing and always entertaining. They fuse blues, vintage soul, gospel energy, and a garage-born grind into something distinct and emotionally resonant. There’s the groove of Muscle Shoals, the sting of Texas blues, the poetry of the Delta—and the attitude of a bar band that never forgot how it felt to play for ten people on a Wednesday night. As they prepare to open for ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd Oct.2025, it’s clear that Jive Mother Mary is stepping into a new chapter. Same way they started: with boots on the ground, guitars slung low, and a sound carved from the roads that brought them here. Be on the lookout for new tunes in 2025
