Underground, ωμός ήχος indie folk
Joe Astray combines the storytelling of Indie Folk with the raw attitude of a Punk Poet. His music captures the emotional, honest reality of surviving as an artist in a world that often questions the value of art, turning exhaustion and defiance into fragile hope. His enduring motto remains: Long live Futility. His brand new album, Stories from the Upside Down, is OUT NOW (Released December 5, 2025). These nine anthems explore a life "off the tracks," weaving together nautical cold and cosy warmth in a signature DIY sound. The album includes the powerful track "Forever Futility, Futility Forever," a litany for everyone who keeps creating against the odds. Joe Astray is ON TOUR NOW across Germany (November 2025 – January 2026).
