For years, the West London selector and producer has poured countless hours into carving out a sound that’s truly his own. Rooted in decades of vinyl obsession, Joe’s sound was forged through deep immersion in UK club culture — from teenage years crate-digging in Soho and Notting Hill, to formative nights at Fabric, The End, and East London basements. Absorbing UK Garage swing, Minimal Techno grooves, Tech House trips, and the sub-heavy weight of Dubstep and Jungle, that heritage continues to shape his evolving style today. His label, Planetary Notions, has been a vehicle for his intergalactic productions — affectionately dubbed “Space Pace” — with releases receiving wide support from RPR Soundsystem, SIT, Sonja Moonear, Jamie Jones, Chris Stussy, Max Dean, Apollonia, and Craig Richards. His records have also powered the world’s most revered sound systems, from DC-10 and Dimensions to UNVRS and Sunwaves. Now entering a new chapter, Joe is pushing a fresh direction where minimal grooves collide with driving peak-time basslines and vocals laced with a seductive edge. His upcoming debut release on Hot Creations marks his boldest step forward yet.
