Jonas Loeb invokes drum & bass and dubstep with wizardly flair, alchemizing what he calls the“finesse pocket” of underground bass music. Within the last year, he went from his debut performance in his own city (NYC), to playing direct support for Josh Teed, DAGGZ, & Mantra Sounds,and sharing stages with Jaenga, Flava D, Ahee, and Kumarion — with more notable bookings on the way. In October, Loeb also founded Mugic.us Records with a multi-genrecompilationthat reached Beatport #1 across several categories and #53 overall. The launch was coveredby River Beats Dance. The label continues to release music frequently, showcasing Loeb’s knack for curation, worldbuilding, and community organizing. Beyond music, Loeb is known for his advocacy on behalf of behind the scenes entertainment workers. His work has been featured in Billboard, The New York Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and others as he contributes to national conversations on workers rights and the future of creative labor.
