Montana-raised, Los Angeles-based Americana duo Joselyn & Don blend Laurel Canyon folk, soul, alt-country, and classic Americana with a cinematic edge. Their music takes us on a soulful road trip through memory, identity, and the American landscape. Written with a lens shaped by both artists’ small-town Montana roots and their creative lives in Los Angeles, Joselyn & Don’s upcoming third album, “Lost & Found Highway” moves through themes of rediscovery, change and loss. Its advance singles include “Choose Love,” a timely anthem for unity featuring Chris Pierce, that has already gained national attention with features on NPR’s The Midnight Special and The Great American Folk Show. “Workin’ the Hi-Line” offers a powerful tribute to Don’s father, who emigrated from the Philippines and built a life in Northern Montana. Meanwhile, “Girl From the Mountain” delivers an upbeat alt-country groove that celebrates the complicated gravity of home. Following their critically acclaimed debut album “Soar” (2020) and EP “Seeds & Bones” (2022), “Lost & Found Highway” deepens the duo’s signature blend of introspective songwriting, intricate finger picked guitar, and Joselyn’s one-of-a-kind voice. Their music has charted on Roots Music Report and the Americana Music Association’s Top 100, and has drawn praise from Americana UK, Twangville, and Americana Highways, with critics hailing their work as “rich, lyrical, wild, and spiritual.”
