Kooba Tercu

A collective of six - brings together loud low end, noisy and somewhat exotic sounds into a futuristic psychedelia that balances between the ominous and the hopeful. The band has released records with Rocket Recordings, Spinalonga Records, Body Blows Records, mafia and Hominid Sounds. Their third full-length album 'Proto Tekno' is to be released in May 2020 by Rocket Recordings. Led by Johnny Tercu, and sharing common members with bands like hypno-rock force Casual Nun and electronic experimental outpost Echo Canyon, this collective joined forces over a ten-day studio session in which a furious bout of creativity and chemistry led to not only their second album ‘Kharrub’ but this - their third voyage into the unknown via coruscating noise and infectious rhythmic drive, and their most powerful and captivating to date. In early November 2020, the band release a remixes album with contributions from Shit And Shine, Negra Branca, Turbo Teeth, Echo Canyon, KOSTADiS, De Santis and Mr Clarinet. Performing in small or bigger venues, their audience is drawn from the psychedelic, experimental and heavy crowds. They've shared stage with acts like Goat, ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE, Föllakzoid, Lena Platonos, CIRCLE, Nurse With Wound and The Soft Moon & have participated in Plissken Festival in 2016.
