Kudeki
Queer, underground καλλιτέχνης techno
Equal parts curator and performer, Kudeki has spent the last decade cultivating the darker side of the Bay Area’s dance music scene. Her new event series, Endzeit, focused on long-form techno in unique spaces, has quickly become one of California’s most interesting techno gatherings. She’s also a resident DJ of Müll, queer underground staple in the Bay Area. Both events are known for their meticulously curated lineups and extended hours, running regularly until dawn. Previously, Kudeki was known for co-running Noctuary, a party that platformed women and nonbinary artists, often bringing them to the Bay Area for the first time. Across all projects, she focuses on inclusive dancefloors and bringing world-class techno to San Francisco, helping reshape the city's often-sunny musical landscape into a destination for serious nightlife. She recently released music on Berlin’s W133 Records, Martyn’s 3024, LA’s Delusional Records, and the bay area’s own AYLI Recordings. As a DJ, Kudeki plays alongside artists such as Helena Hauff, Rrose, Silent Servant, and Objekt. Her style adapts to diverse settings, weaving together techno with hints of electro, acid, industrial, and EBM flavor, layered with trippy textures and grooves, heavily influenced by both Detroit and Berlin’s techno lineages.
