Not only the band name is martial. In their "Jazz Rock Psychedelia", the multi cultural band KUHN FU of guitarist, composer and master of ceremonies, Christian Kühn, turns everything through the improvisational wolf. Zappa meets cabaret, surf sounds and metal riffs ride the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, while Shakespeare, Brecht and Monty Python are the godfathers. Christian Kühn ( DE ) - guitar, voice, composition Frank Gratowski ( DE ) - alto saxphone, clarinet, flute John Dikeman ( US ) - tenor saxophone Ziv Taubenfeld ( ISR ) - bass clarinet Sofia Salvo ( ARG ) - baritone saxophone Esat Ekincioglu ( TR ) - bass George Hadow ( UK )- drums "Chain The Snake ”is an intellectual chaos, a planned sabotage for pleasure, an experiment for mad professors, a fairground for modern freaks." Murat Beser - Cumhuriyet, TR "If we wanted an Austrian Billy Jenkins, who better than Christian Kühn and his Kuhn Fu combo, manic in terms of guitaring, puppet-dancing and mention-the-humor, he roughed up the festival with a bucketload of zany humor, in the guise of avant speed jazz." Jazzwise, UK "In keeping with its garish, absurdist cover art, the music Kuhn Fu creates is, in turns, discordant, danceable and utterly delightful." Doug Collette, allaboutjazz
