KWONIX (pronounced QUO-NICKS) is a Los Angeles-based duo of Kwo and Unïx. The two initially connected virtually in 2023, and after quickly gaining admiration and appreciation for each other's artistry, Kwo and Unïx began working on a collection of their own songs remotely. Blending the grit of funk, vulnerability of soul, and spontaneity of jazz, KWONIX debuts as a music duo with Deviate — an EP built for the people standing at the edge of transformation. Whether it’s leaving behind a version of yourself that no longer fits, choosing joy over survival, or taking a risk that changes everything, Deviate is the soundtrack for the hard pivot. Across lush grooves, energetic horns, hypnotic basslines, and fearless lyricism, the project explores what happens when you stop following expectations and start listening to your inner compass.
