If creativity is the currency of the 21st century, then, by my estimation, @LDTheProducer is the wealthiest among us. David Wood was born on in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY. He received his first drum kit (a Pearl) from his father David Wood, Sr. and began drumming in church at six years old. Armed with a seemingly endless cache of musical gifts, LD (as referred to by close friends) has set the groundwork for his own legacy -- all the while lending his talents to notable acts such as Pusha T, Flo Rida, Jesse Boykins III, Ryan Leslie, Jim Jones, Shirley Caesar and Timothy Wright. His memorable "behind the kit" performances on NBC's Today Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon are a master class in taste and imagination. Ever pushing the boundaries of his creativity, LD has broadened his musical endeavors. He's evolved into a fully realized artist -- manning the helm behind the board and in the booth; combining tried and true musicianship with millennial abandon.
