Les Itinérantes

One of France’s most distinctive a cappella acts, Les Itinérantes turn three voices into an immersive, ritual-like live experience. Recognized for transforming vocal performance into a powerful live journey, Les Itinérantes (French for “The Wanderers”) were founded in Paris in 2017, following a chance encounter and a shared desire to explore the voice beyond established genres. Without instruments, they approach singing as a living, embodied material - a space of memory, transmission, and human connection. Their repertoire spans over nine centuries of music and more than sixty languages, blending ancient and traditional songs with original compositions. This diversity is not encyclopedic, but intentional: a search for what unites people across time, cultures, and borders. Praised by the French press for the ritual, purity, and emotional depth of their performances, Manon Cousin-Cipriani, Pauline Langlois de Swarte and Élodie Pont are known for rare vocal precision and a strong sense of presence.
