Lia Hide is an Athenian composer, producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and music educator. With a prolific past in the Greek Electronica (2006-2012), she debuted as an EMI solo artist, 2013. She has released 5 albums, one soundtrack (music commissioned for dance-drama 'Genoktonia' (Aeschylean Festival, 2022) numerous covers, remixes and featured in international compilations. She’s multi-awarded (International Video & Film Competitions+festivals) for the videos from (4th album) “the Missing Fourth Guest” (concept album on Plato’s ‘Timeaus’) even reaching the 2nd ballot for Best Music Video Grammy Award, 2023. Her music is fusing jazz with avant-garde, cinematic with dark wave, glitch with baroque pop, weaved with spoken-word poetry versatile vocals and a rigid piano trio. Her latest album, Aristophobia Nervosa is a spoken word-poetry concept work released in April 2025. She’s toured Europe extensively having performed in 18 countries in 5 multi-dated, self-managed tours. She’s performed at Dark Malta(MT), Station Street(BG), Forest Jam(FR), Nisville Jazz Festival(SE), Wfest(BE), KraKra Jazz Festival(BG), Athens Jazz(GR), Fekete Zaj(HU), Varusha South 48Hours(BG), at Berklee University (USA), SoAlive(BG), MMB(RO), PIN(MK), Melodrama(PL), Future Echoes(SE) +more & alongside Tricky, Die Krups, Kadebostany, Kovacs, Front242, March Violets, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Blak Uhuru, Karen Souza, Ida Nielsen, Zola Jesus. March 2025 she performed w/MadebyGrey at CAN festival (CH).
