Lily Desmond

Lily Desmond is a screaming violinist trying to make sure that everyone has a good time. She composes herself into layers using a loop pedal and a 5 string violin. She sometimes does this with her band Lily + The Goddamns Desmond grew up in Los Angeles and moved to the east coast to immerse herself in all kinds of music. She’s done so in every way - studying composition in college, busking in the subway and joining and collaborating with as many groups as possible. She recorded and toured nationally with Sloppy Jane and Brian Falduto, and has performed locally around New York City with talents like Ellen Winter, Chamber Band, Aaron Is Your Friend, Carli Naff, Hallie Spoor, Elisa Winter, fantasy of a broken heart, Josh Gachette & His Pioneers, Concetta Abbate and more. She also recorded as a member of the pit for the hit podcast 36 Questions.
