Underground καλλιτέχνης psychedelic pop
https://linktr.ee/littlestorpingintheswuff Named after a fictional town from cult 60s British TV spy series The Avengers, Little Storping In The Swuff launched their psych meets kitchen-sink realism on 2024 debut album ‘Baroque Anxieties’, with support across BBC 6 Music (including a session for Riley & Coe) and supportive words in the press, including The Guardian and Shindig!. The follow-up album ‘Hassle Olympics’ is out on April 24th via Spinout Nuggets on limited edition LP and CD. Prior to Little Storping In The Swuff, lead singer David Goggin was the creative force behind Medway pysch-pop outfit Brigadier Ambrose, once described by Huw Stephens as ‘the greatest thing to ever come out of Chatham’. Brigadier Ambrose released a series of 60s psych influenced singles and an album in the late 00s to widespread Radio One, Radio Two and BBC 6 Music airplay, and performed at various festivals like Latitude and with BBC Introducing during that period. Over ten new tracks, ‘Hassle Olympics’ celebrates the daily competition of absurd domestic chores to a psychedelic soundtrack. Having honed their eccentric live reputation with a series of absurdist happenings, the new album was recorded in the stoically analogue Ranscombe Studios in Kent and co-produced with Jim Riley.
Little Storping In The Swuff plays psych-chamber indie pop with elements of kitchen-sink realism, releasing music on Spinout Nuggets.
Little Storping In The Swuff is the solo project of English musician David Goggin, who was previously the creative force behind the Medway psych-pop outfit Brigadier Ambrose.
