Liya Shapiro

Liya Shapiro is a London-based singer-songwriter whose music has found its centre in chamber rock – strings woven through electric guitars, orchestral ambition sitting alongside indie songwriting. Her cinematic sound is a post-genre reflection on yearning, loneliness and self-discovery. With poetic lyricism, she gives voice to experiences often left unspoken, from the ache of unrequited love to struggling with mental health. Her most recent single, Another Woman, marks the full arrival of that sound, and her eponymous debut EP is out now.
