Louis Fouché

Louis Fouché is the saxophonist on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the house band Louis Cato & The Late Show Band (formerly Jon Batiste & Stay Human) since 2017. Fouché has established himself as one of the most exciting and versatile saxophonists in the world and has performed in over 35 countries on 6 continents. Fouché has toured with 10-time Grammy winning Latin music legend Eddie Palmieri since 2010, and he has performed with renowned artists spanning various genres including Lalah Hathaway, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews Band, Carole King, Valerie Simpson, Jill Scott, Lalo Rodriguez, Mighty Sparrow, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Joe Walsh, Neal Schon, George Porter Jr., Chief Adjuah, Michael Bublé, Trombone Shorty, Rachael & Vilray, Kes, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Cory Wong, Alessia Cara, Sean Jones, Endea Owens, RAYE, Lauren Henderson, French Montana, and many more. Fouché is a recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award, and his work has been featured on Grammy and Emmy Award-winning projects. In addition to performing, Fouché is an accomplished producer, composer, and arranger. His self-produced debut EP Subjective Mind received radio play worldwide and was a #1 new release on Amazon. Fouché is a cofounder of the band Sonido Solar, and their debut album Eddie Palmieri Presents: Sonido Solar has received international critical acclaim, including a 4.5 out of 5 star review from DownBeat Magazine.
