Underground σχήμα latin jazz
Loz Speyer's Time Zone is a 'deep fusion' of Cuban music and Jazz - soulful, catchy and rhythmically provocative. The collision of Cuban culture with Jazz initially came from trumpeter and composer Loz Speyer's own time living in Santiago de Cuba. Back in London, he leads this line-up featuring guitar genius Stuart Hall, conga maestro Maurizio Ravalico, reeds man Martin Hathaway, bassist Dave Manington and drummer Andy Ball. Through their extensive musical experience and research, together they create this bilingual, bi-cultural music. Time Zone's second album Crossing the Line was released in 2011. Their next album "Clave Sin Embargo" is ready for release in June 2019.
Loz Speyer's Time Zone plays an adventurous fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms and contemporary jazz, rooted in the London underground scene.
