Luísa Sobral

Luísa Sobral is one of the most recognized singer-songwriters on the Portuguese musical scene, with a solid international career spanning several continents and world-renowned festivals. She debuted in 2011 with the acclaimed album The Cherry on My Cake, starting a discography of original work that includes the titles There’s A Flower In My Bedroom (2013), Luísa (2016), Rosa (2018), and DanSando (2022). In parallel, she has also created projects dedicated to children, being the author of the album Lu-Pu-I-Pi-Sa-Pa (2014), the lullaby mini-album Camomila (2021), and the books Quando a Porta Fica Aberta (2022) and O Peso das Palavras (2024). Luísa Sobral has developed a strong literary side, highlighted by the success of her first novel, Nem Todas as Árvores Morrem de Pé (2025), and the book of chronicles Da Minha Janela (2026). As a composer, she writes for big names in music and penned “Amar Pelos Dois”, a song performed by her brother, Salvador Sobral, which gave Portugal its very first victory in Eurovision, in 2017. As a music producer, she has also collaborated with several Portuguese artists. Currently, she is preparing the release of her eighth album, Cartas de Desamor, scheduled for October 2026, whose first single, "Felicidade", marks a new creative phase inspired by traditional Portuguese music.
