Vocalist, producer and songwriter; London native Lynda Dawn explores the sonic spectrum between funk, soul and jazz. Drawing upon her musically inclined upbringing, Dawn delivers a distinctive style of storytelling. Dawn was first featured on Gilles Peterson’s 13th Brownswood Bubblers Compilation. This was closely followed by her breakout single Move which introduced Lynda as ‘one to watch’. Her highly anticipated debut EP, At First Light was released on Mndsgn’s LA-based label Akashik Records. Met with critical acclaim, it landed the number 1 spot on Jamz Supernova's Top 5 EPs in the World. Following the release, The Guardian and Clash Magazine also included Dawn in their top new acts. Having garnered over 7million streams from one EP and after selling out her first two headline shows, this enigmatic songstress has quietly positioned herself as one of the UK’s brightest new soul artists.
