Being a post-genre artist, Maham's music mainly draws from Electronic, Soul-Pop, and Alternative music. She has an eclectic live & recorded repertoire, spanning song recordings in 8 languages, bi-lingual Spoken Word/lyrics, cross-genre instrumentation, Electronic beats, field recordings, and World Music samples. Maham's music mostly is based on her life experiences based on deeper shadow work, healing & empowerment, self-introspection, love, and liberation. Maham has worked & collaborated locally and internationally, with remote productions, residencies, and live Arts & Music festivals. Hailing from an Avant-garde AV installation background before recording her travel compilation, Alt. Ethno-Jazz album ‘Mitti’, she is working on fresh music now, releasing singles currently, while conceptualizing her new album to start on soon. Maham has quite a few awards & honors to her credit, including the ISC (Int. Songwriting Competition) Honorable Mention (Nashville, U.S.) 2021, HBL PSL ‘Hamaray Heroes’/‘Our Heroes’ (Pakistan, 2022), Goethe Talents’ scholarship (Berlin, 2017), Peace Song Awards (PSA, Canada) 2019, etc. She has gained media presence in 12 countries. While performing at venues and festivals across London, Essex, etc.; Maham is also actively writing for media music lately. Maham currently lives and works as a UK Global Talent recipient in London, England.
