Makzo

Zack Mortimer, also known as Makzo, is a Canadian-born, London-based music producer who puts a modern twist on an old school style. His compositions fuse hip-hop, R&B and electronic elements, drawing from inspirations such as Ta-ku, 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Mr. Carmack and many more. Amassing over 50 million streams across all platforms, Makzo has made a name for himself with projects like Anecdotes and Wanderlust, as well as collaborations with artists such as Blu, sophie meiers, The Kount, Jerome Thomas, Max Fry and Leavv. His music has also received support from BBC Radio 1, CBC Radio, EARMILK, Stereofox, Wordplay Magazine, and many more.
