British musician Mark Gemini Thwaite (aka MGT) is best known for his long tenure as guitarist for Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy; also for recording on several albums with UK goth rockers The Mission; several albums and tours in the 2000’s with British Trip hop pioneer Tricky, and recording and performing with electronic pioneer Gary Numan. In 2016 Thwaite released his debut solo album ‘Volumes’ under his MGT artist acronym, which included a single with frontman Ville Valo of Finnish band HIM, a dark rock version of ABBA’s classic ‘Knowing Me Knowing You’. Thwaite also collaborated on Killing Joke drummer Big Paul Ferguson on his debut album ‘Remote Control’, co-writing and mixing the album, which was released in summer 2021. Other collaborations include Al Jourgensen of Ministry & Revolting Cocks, Roger Daltrey of The Who, PJ Harvey, Alanis Morissette, Ricky Warwick and the Fighting Hearts, British band The Wonder Stuff, Burton C Bell of Fear Factory, Spear Of Destiny, and collaborations with Lol Tolhurst and Porl Thompson of The Cure.
