Mars Motel is a Brooklyn-based dream rock band led by singer and guitarist Sarik Kumar and longtime musical collaborator Justin Lieberthal. The group delivers a signature guitar-driven sound, blending shoegaze, psych-rock, and cinematic pop into an atmospheric journey through sound and space. Entering 2025, Mars Motel expanded its lineup, welcoming new drummer Peter Curtiss and close friend Ryan Slatko. This collective energy fueled a highly prolific era of creation. The entire band channeled this new dynamic into their 2nd upcoming full-length record, “This Isn’t My Paradise”. Written and recorded entirely within 2025, the album captured its nostalgic, otherworldly atmosphere at Ghost Hit Recording—a stunning, converted historic church in Springfield, Massachusetts. “This Isn’t My Paradise” arrives on all streaming platforms on September 18th, 2026.
