Márta Ábrahám

Márta Ábrahám is an internationally active Hungarian violinist known for her refined musicianship, stylistic breadth, and deeply considered interpretations. Her work moves fluently between the concert stage, baroque performance practice, and violin pedagogy. A committed interpreter of both major repertoire and lesser-known works, she has developed a particular affinity for the music of J. S. Bach. Her work combines historical awareness with a highly personal musical voice. She is Professor of Violin at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, founder of the Ábrahám Consort, and creator of the Colorful BACH method. In addition to her performing career, she is also active as a researcher and author, with publications focusing on Bach, violin technique, and musical interpretation.
