Formed in 2017 by Marva Voulgari (pianist, singer-songwriter) and Theo Foinidis (pianist, electroacoustic composer, producer), Marva Von Theo carve a unique niche in electronic-pop with their emotionally resonant, boundary-pushing sound. Their music is a sophisticated blend of electronic, acoustic, and orchestral elements, that thrives on contrasts—introspective yet explosive, fragile yet commanding, fierce, futuristic but also darkly romantic – transitioning seamlessly from haunting, poetic atmospheres to redemptive, uplifting electronic beats. Their songs explore the full spectrum of human emotion - the ache of lost love, the quiet struggle with self-doubt, the inner conflict stirred by unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately the hard-won clarity that comes with growth. The lyrics balance raw vulnerability with resilient optimism, finding light even in life's darker corners. The duo has released two albums— Dream Within a Dream (2018) and Afterglow (2021)—with their third, We Were Never Lost, due late 2025.
