Formed in Thessaloniki in 1993, Maskes emerged as a distinctive voice in the Greek alternative scene by blending melodic rock with electronic textures and organic percussion. The group released notable albums through Ano-Kato Records and Minos-EMI during the 1990s and 2000s. Their atmospheric soundscapes and emotive vocals continue to define a unique chapter in modern Greek music.
