Mawelele

Ntokozo Wandile Mawelele, known as Mawelele, is a singer-songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa. Raised in the Vaal, he discovered his love for music at 11 when his father taught him piano. By 12, he was singing in church and performing in local groups. Mawelele began writing and recording his own music, gaining recognition during the national lockdown with cover videos that caught the attention of Afro-pop stars Blaq Diamond. His hit single, All My Life , featuring Kwesta , became a major success, solidifying his position as a rising force in Afro Pop and R&B. He has collaborated with artists like Kwesta , Blaq Diamond , Aubrey Qwana, and Naledi Aphiwe, aiming to create music that heals and inspires. In addition to his previous work, Mawelele recently released Naledi , Romeo & Juliet with Naledi Aphiwe , as well as his latest project Time , featuring 8 songs that showcase his growth as an artist.
