Mazayr is a UK-based artist who crafts emotionally rich music, seamlessly blending uplifting and melancholic melodies over punchy, solid grooves. His journey began as a drummer in his youth, fostering a deep-rooted connection to rhythm that naturally evolved into a passion for electronic music production. Exploring the many realms of deep and progressive house, Mazayr’s sound is designed to stand the test of time. His distinctive style has earned him releases on respected labels such as The Purr, Musique de Lune, roku, and Transensations—gaining support from industry heavyweights like Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha, Eelke Kleijn, and Cristoph. As a DJ, Mazayr has brought his sound to many stages over the years, including Destino Pacha, Pangaea Festival, and the iconic Sankeys nightclub. In 2019, he expanded his influence by launching ‘Right Frequency’, a mix series and event brand dedicated to showcasing deep, progressive house.
