Mazingo

The Franco-American trio Mazingo takes you on a wild ride. They hit the road in 2020 in a cloud of dust, with songs tinged with blues and rock. It smells like the Bayou of Louisiana and tastes like the salty air of the Breton coast, where the band sets up camp between two tours. Mazingo is the meeting of Dr. John, comfortably seated in his rocking chair, being yelled at by Tom Waits. After winning the France Blues Challenge in April 2024, they will represent France at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2025. Their second album, "Hey You," released in June 2024, marks the start of their first European tour. On stage, they convey a feverish energy and take the audience on a journey with their original compositions both english and french. ---- Le trio franco-américain Mazingo vous emmène avec eux en cavale. Mazingo c’est la rencontre de Dr John, confortablement installé sur son rocking chair, se faisant hurler dessus par Tom Waits. Après avoir remporté la finale du Challenge France Blues en Avril 2024, ils partent représenter la France à l'International Blues Challenge de Memphis en 2025. Leur deuxième album "Hey You", sorti en Juin 2024, donne lieu à une première tournée européenne.
