Meden Agan

Meden Agan, formed in 2005 in Paris by Diman Koutsogiannopoulos, gained acclaim with their 2006 demo and 2007 debut album "Illusions." Reformed in Greece in 2010, they released the EP "Nemesis" and the album "Erevos Aenaon" in 2011. They performed several live shows, including support acts for Tarja, Epica, Maiden United, V.O.A and participated in the “Metal Female Voices Fest X” in Belgium in October 2012. Line-up changes ensued and the third album "Lacrima Dei." released in 2013. The band then performed in the first Voices of The Mist festival in Athens. In December 2015 Dimitra Panariti joined the band. With a new vocalist having a wider range of vocal techniques they released the fourth album, "Catharsis," in 2018. They performed extensively in Greece and shared stages with bands like Epica and Rotting Christ. In summer 2022, they opened for Manowar at Release Athens Festival and in 2023 appeared at Metal Union Agrinio Festival. In December 2023, they celebrated Metal Hammer magazine's anniversary. Amidst COVID, they worked on their fifth album, "My Name is Katherine," released on May 3, 2024, under Sleazy Rider Records, recorded/mixed by Terry Nikas and mastered by Jens Bogren.
