Underground καλλιτέχνης hip hop
In Mega Modd’s world, the lines between thought, sound, and feeling blur. He’s an artist from The Bronx,NYC blending Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rock in a ways that are honest, experimental, and ever evolving. He started out busking in subway stations, performing for strangers and figuring things out as he went. This early hustle still shows in his music and grind today—raw, self-made, and rooted in speaking on his observations and sometimes hazy perceptions. In 2018, he dropped his first official single “Melanie’ Al” with a self-directed video, introducing listeners to a sound that doesn’t follow trends but takes a different turn. A few months later, “Busta!” became a crowd favorite, turning into one of his most-performed tracks at live shows across NYC and a moment where he started to discover what he wanted to do. His catalog moves in many directions—from the high energy of “Out The Way” and “Blackpoint” to the slower, more reflective tone of “Lazaretto” and “Fuck Rapists.” Some songs are loud and defiant & others are quiet and searching. Projects like Twentyseven show his take on popular styles, while Blackpoint, his first fully in-house release, leans into vulnerability—exploring identity, relationships, and accountability as he aims to portray through his music to this day. At the core, Mega Modd is just telling his story, one song at a time. The sound may shift, but the honesty stays the same.
Mega Modd blends Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rock, creating an experimental and honest sound that ranges from high-energy tracks to more reflective tones.
