Midilink

Midilink is a French producer, liver and DJ from the Parisian underground scene. He quickly made a name in the alternative electronic scene that explosed in Europe at the end of the 90s. It was through his involvement with the Tomahawk and Drop’in Caravan sound systems, where he played his live sets during free parties. He adds tribal elements to breakbeat, minimal and progressive techno roots, mixed with psychedelic notes in a sublime groovy flow. In early 2000, Midilink attracted the attention of legal events with his very accessible sets. Mixing styles and instinctively adapting his music to changing crowds, he began to straddle the underground and clubbing spheres. Expanding his technical expertise, he studied professional acoustic techniques at the IMFP (Institut Musicale de Formations Professionnelles) and combined the science of sound with intuitive art. He came to the attention of IOT Records as a participant in the Expedisound concept, which fused world music with electronics. Midilink has played at festivals as Atman (Sri-Lanka), Fora De Tempo (Portugal), Atlas (Italy), Festifl’art (France) and Zouav’Fest (France), with renowned artists such as Popof, Manu Le Malin, Crystal Distortion, Ash Roy, Carbon, Peter Groskreutz, Babylon Joke, Laurent De Wilde, Cecile Facom, 6thFloor, 69db, Azu Tiwaline, and soon ATOEM, and many more...
