Mike Lindup

Mike Lindup is a singer, keyboard player, composer and founder member of Level 42. Formed in 1980 with Mark King, Phil and Boon Gould, the band has sold over 30 million albums and is still playing festivals and tours , performing worldwide hits including Something About You, Lessons In Love, Running In The Family, Children Say, The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up). Mike has performed onstage with Dominic Miller, Sting, Midge Ure, Nik Kershaw, George Martin, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. Mike has regularly played in Let It Be and Thriller Live, both in the West End and touring productions as Musical Director. He has co-written musicals with Barb Jungr - Liver Birds Flying Home and Soho Songs, and has composed the soundtrack for the feature film Arifa. Mike has released several solo albums: Changes (1990), Conversations With Silence (2003), On The One (2012), and in 2023/2024 his highly acclaimed album Changes 2, featuring the singles Time To Let Go (remixed by Louis Vega), Atlantia (remixed by Dave Lee) and I Saw You In My Dreams, featuring Omar, Tony Momrelle, Ursula Rucker and impressionist Jon Culshaw. Mike continues to record new material as a solo artist - his latin-jazz instrumental Perplexity, in December 2025 completed a successful trio mini tour of the UK and Paris with Yolanda Charles on bass, John Sam on drums. A longer trio tour is planned for this year, which will also see Mike as featured vocalist on new tracks by FiL Straughan and Power of 3
