Naomi Berrill

I am an Irish cellist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer-songwriter based in Florence. I experiment with the use of the cello as an accompanying instrument to my voice, composing, arranging and leaving space for improvisation in my performances. So far I have released 3 albums. From the Ground (Lampi 2013), To the Sky (Egea 2015) and Suite Dreams (Warner Music Italy 2020). Since 2019 I collaborate with the renowned Editors, Casa Musicale Sonzogno. My performances and collaborations span different musical genres. —————————————————————————————————— Sono una violoncellista, poli-strumentista, compositrice, autrice e cantante Irlandese stabilito a Firenze da diversi anni. Sperimento l’uso dello strumento come accompagnamento alla voce, componendo e arrangiando nuovi brani in cui prende spazio anche l’improvvisazione. Ad oggi ho pubblicato tre album: "From the Ground" (Lampi 2015) “To the sky” (Egea 2017), e "Suite Dreams" (Warner Music Italy 2020) prodotto ed edito dalla Casa Musicale Sonzogno. I miei performance e collaborazioni spaziano tra diversi generi musicali.
